QAQC

acQuire provides essential workflow control tools for Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) analysis in mining and exploration.

An organisation with a well planned and implemented QAQC policy will take comfort that any decisions it makes will be based on data which is as accurate as can be.

With acQuire, you literally have QAQC at your fingertips to support your organisation’s QAQC policy for laboratory assay results.

acQuire has a fully integrated QAQC package to allow analysis of all your assay-related data. With an array of charts to select from, the system is completely configurable so you decide what you want to see and how you want to see it.

All acQuire charts are interactive, allowing you to point and click on an attribute to see the underlying data.

You can apply warnings to highlight the results that fail the business rules you define.

Data can be exported from within the QAQC system in a variety of formats for the majority of packages in use.

Charting Options

acQuire offers two different charting categories:

  • Standard and blank data, which provides analysis of standard and blank results in a data set by charting the certified value against the check samples.
  • Paired data charts which compares original (or parent) against check (or child) analytical results, for both drillhole and point sample data.

Standard and blank data

acQuire offers the following chart types for standards/blanks data:

  • Grade or normalised grade by sequence. A line chart where the sequence is the order of the despatch or sample number. The x axis is dimensionless. Each chart displays data for one element /method.
  • Grade or normalised data by date. It is similar to the one above, where the axis is the date returned or date sent. Each chart displays data for one element /method.
  • Blanks control. A bar chart that displays data for one element /method.
  • Box and whiskers by standard.

Paired data

acQuire offers the following chart types for paired data:

  • Scatter.
  • Relative difference by percentile, mean grade or sequences.
  • Quartile Quartile (QQ).

Chart Settings

Almost every feature of a chart setting is configurable, including:

  • Chart, axis and data labelling and colouring.
  • Cutoffs and thresholds.
  • Control, warning and error line business rule definitions.
  • Additional business rules for flagging QAQC failures.

Interactivity

acQuire’s QAQC charts contain a number of interactive features, including:

  • If you click on a point on a chart, the associated data is highlighted in the data grid. The reverse is also possible.
  • If you move the cursor over a chart point, depending on the chart type, the summary information is displayed at the cursor. This includes statistics (where relevant).
