QAQC and Assay Results in acQuire
Code
aQ103
Description
This training session covers some of the more advanced applications of an acQuire import object and the creation of a QAQC object. An acQuire import object is used to access assay source data and insert and/or update all, or a portion of, the data into the acQuire database. The QAQC object is used to chart data and display related statistics of analytical data in an acQuire database. This session also demonstrates how to produce a report within the QAQC object to review analytical data.
Duration
2 days
Who should attend?
This training session is designed for acQuire database managers who want to be able to create and/or configure tools for QAQC evaluation and storage of assay results in the acQuire database.
Prerequisite
- acQuire Concepts (aQ1001)
- A knowledge of creating acQuire reports would be beneficial, but is not essential. This knowledge can be gained from the acQuire Reports (aQ104) training session.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this training session, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the acQuire Data Model (ADM).
- Demonstrate a database manager level of understanding of the 'assay and despatch' part of the ADM.
- Create workspace objects (import: assay and QAQC).
- Demonstrate an understanding of assay and despatch workflow.
- Create and use an import object for assay import.
- Create and use a QAQC object to review analytical quality (i.e. precision and accuracy).
- Create a report to review analytical data.
