Design Scaled Log Reports in GIM Suite
This online unit will equip you with the skills to design scaled log reports in GIM Suite (using different strips and their layer types like bar, fill, curve, text and tadpole etc.) to allow your users to visualise and interact with their downhole log data in the most intuitive ways and then print or share with relevant stakeholders.
The unit comprises videos, practice simulations and an online quiz. Successful completion of the quiz is required for unit completion.

Who benefits?
- Database managers responsible for creating and maintaining scaled log reports for their teams.
Learning Outcomes
1. Add and configure strips and strip groups to represent downhole data in scaled log reports (e.g. lithology, alteration, RQD, MagSus, structure intervals, and analytical results).
2. Add and configure different layer types within the strips to visualise data in the most intuitive ways in scaled log reports (e.g. bar layer for best gold value, curve layer for best copper value, fill layer for lithology and alteration intervals, tadpole layer for structure orientation, text layer for labels etc.).
3. Configure the header and legend to provide title/summary information, which give scaled log reports a professional look.
4. Add and configure elements (e.g. select box, preview strip) that help users navigate scaled log reports with ease.
