acQuire is looking forward to joining the mineral exploration industry at the 2016 Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) annual international convention from 6 to 9 March.

Monday, 7 March

Integration of Corescan hyperspectral core imaging data with the acQuire GIM Suite: 2:00pm – 2:30pm

Dr Brigette A Martini shows the connectivity between Corescan’s Coreshed and the acQuire GIM Suite.  Corescan automated hyperspectral core imaging data is used to produce both textural/image-based and point mineralogical data that are easily streamed into and integrated with additional geological datasets within the GIM Suite.

GIM Panel Discussion: 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Join our GIM (geoscientific information management) panelists as they discuss data quality and data integrity in mineral exploration, geoscientific information management strategies, challenges faced in managing your data in mineral exploration, and other topics important to those working in GIM.

Tuesday, 8 March

This session is an opportunity for geology consultants to learn more about joining the Nova Network and for those working in mining and exploration companies to find out how they can benefit from using the services of a Nova Network Partner.
