PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – 11 December 2024 – acQuire Technology Solutions (acQuire) was named a finalist in two award categories, Large Business of the Year, and Employer of the Year at the WA Business Awards 2024 dinner on 29 November at Crown Perth.
The annual WA Business Awards, hosted by Business News, recognises Western Australian businesses that are excelling in their field and making a difference to their community.
Founded in Perth in 1996, acQuire has helped organisations manage their increasingly complex data challenges impacting Environmental, Social and Governance, with its leading information management solutions.
Originally focused on providing geoscientific software for the mining industry, acQuire’s suite of solutions has expanded to support an array of industries across natural resources, public utilities, governments and organisations who manage the environmental or social impact of their business.
Becoming a finalist for the ECU School of Business and Law Large Business of the Year category, recognises acQuire’s commitment to technological and business excellence by focusing on developing resilient software through its ‘people, process and technology’ methodology, ensuring every customer has a robust way to address their information management challenges.
Since inception, acQuire has been a values-driven organisation and these principles have been entrenched across the organisation, and each office around the world, through a single integrated culture. The Mader Group Employer of the Year recognises businesses who prioritise and invest in their team and use this as a tool for organisational growth.
On becoming a finalist in this category, Alison Atkins, acQuire’s CEO, said, “Our cultural framework at acQuire is our roadmap to ensuring we have the people, systems, and processes embedded so all employees have a positive career experience, and for the company to grow sustainably. As acOuire continues to grow strategically, our cultural framework continues to evolve to support and inspire our people to achieve more than they ever thought possible.”
Alison attributes the success of becoming a double finalist at this year’s awards saying, “We believe investing in people and retaining skills is, and will, continue to provide a long-term competitive advantage for us.”
