The acQuire Connect Tech Summit – Beyond 2022: Smarter data for smarter decisions – will be hosted in Perth, Western Australia from 15-16 November. It’s designed to bring geoscience and environmental experts together to share ideas, gain industry insights and explore smarter geoscience software solutions.
acQuire, a global software company specialising in geoscientific information management solutions, is set to host its first in-person conference since COVID-19 changed the business landscape. The event will feature a cross section of geoscience experts and their ideas with representatives from industries from around the world.
This year’s theme explores how ever-evolving technology is paving the way for geoscience and environmental professionals to continually benefit from smarter and better ways of working with their data. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discover the latest updates across acQuire’s software products, both GIM Suite and EnviroSys, and provide direct and in-person feedback to product leaders.
acQuire Connect is a two-day event to help acQuire’s customers, working across a range of geoscience disciplines, gain new insights by sharing industry best practices with peers, understand each other’s challenges and explore smarter solutions together.
The engaging and interactive program is jam-packed with keynote presentations, examples of industry best practice, software-specific breakout sessions, thought-leader Q&As, speed presentations and panel discussions. It will also feature a tech lounge where users can explore, discover and play with solutions. The tech summit also provides plenty of opportunities for attendees to network, share knowledge and reconnect in person after more than two years of remote events.
acQuire’s Customer Success Leader, Lee-Anne Coleman, said acQuire Connect is about the community of geoscience and environmental professionals coming together to enjoy a richer way to learn, engage and reconnect.
“This format gives people better opportunities to explore crucial industry ideas and the challenges they face,” Lee-Anne said.
“We see great things come out of these events, where geoscience professionals can see how others in their industry are working with data, optimising their solutions and how impactful this can be, particularly in industries where people are working with our earth’s precious and finite resources.
“Together we can become smarter and ultimately make smarter decisions in day-to-day work, for the companies we work for and for our planet.”
acQuire Connect is a must-attend event for database managers, geologists, geology managers, technical managers, environmental scientists, environmental superintendents or anyone who is working closely with acQuire’s software for geological data management or environmental data management.
